OOTD: Fright Night!

I'm back, I'm back!
Sorry for being away for so long, I really don't have a good excuse except that I'm lazy! Also the lack of sun and dark mornings and evenings is making it near impossible for me to take half decent outfit photos, but I promise to try harder, ok? :)

I thought I would get this week off to a scary start by sharing my Halloween outfit from a party I went to at the weekend. Somehow I have managed to leave all of my fancy dress back at the flat in Northampton, so it was a bit of a rush job with my costume, but I think I did a good job considering I only spent £2.75 on some white face paint haha!

To be honest doing the makeup was really easy even though it wasn't perfect, all I brought was the white face paint from a local fancy dress shop and then used all my own makeup for the rest, e.g. black eyeliner, purple eyeliner, pink eyeshadow and pink lipstick! And luckily I had my skeleton top already so that was a simple choice for the outfit! So it was all really cheap :D

My very rushed and not practiced Sugar Skull makeup haha!

What I wore: Top- Truly Madly Deeply, Urban Outfitters    Skirt- Ebay    Tights- Henry Holland    Creepers- Underground

Me & Superwoman (Hannah)!

Me & a male nun (Sam)!
Lovely Ladies!
'Jimmy Saville' and nun haha!

Final one of me ;)
Hope you all had a great weekend, anyone else go to a Halloween party? What did you go as?

Melabella Blogger Event

Last Tuesday I was lucky enough to be invited to the Melabella blogger event, which showcased the amazing pieces Bella has developed and made for A/W 2012. This is her second Autumn Winter collection and has already been featured in Elle and Grazia among others!

The evening was lovely, talking to Bella was great and it's was really interesting to learn more about her designing process and how she develops her ideas into pieces on wonderful clothing! And I got to meet loads of other bloggers from the London area which was equally great since I haven't really met any other bloggers before haha!

Anyway I'll let the photos of the collection talk for itself (some photos are mine- the terrible ones! and some are from the press pack I was emailed after the evening).

Bella focuses on signature prints, flattering shapes and versatility that have the ability to become wardrobe staples. Bella's grandmother Thora played a key role in inspiring this collection, she explained her grandmother always had impeccable style and vintage 'look' can be seen in the flattering, beautifully made clothes.
The print I liked the most were the 'dalton dancers' which was inspired by a mysterious envelope dated back to 1955 which was full of charming silhouettes that had been sent to Thora from her sister.
Thanks to Melabella and Sticky Communications for putting on such a fun evening, I can't to see next years Spring Summer collection!
What do you guys think? Any bits you would like for your wardrobe?
